I read this same article, however don't recall reading anything about flowering and budding. Did I miss something? Are they smoking leaves?

easy pal guessin u did ur grow by now and probly know that hps is the way to go for big buds but also u need low heat so read up on the led ufo light systems never used em myself but hear they do the job and no heat
