Im color blind :(

Color blindness is carried in the X chromosome. It skips a generation in my family. My grandfater was color blind, but his son wasn't. My mother carried the gene and passed it to my brother who is color blind. That means I carry the gene, but my son was NOT color blind. My daugher will carry the gene and if she ever does decide to have kids, if she has a son I predict he will be color blind.

I'm the only grower in the family. My son (23) wants to learn, but I won't teach him, not yet anyway. We get medical passed in our state then I might teach him, but they way things stand with the laws now, I don't want him to risk it.

I'll be waiting for those pretty purple pics, that is a beautiful plant you have there.

lol,

well lucky you :)

this isnt the first time my color problem has fucked me :(

I might also speculate that your the only grower in the fam?? :)

In about a week I think I will ruck back out there and take some more pics, so please keep tuned :)

Howdy again, just came back from a lil' walk this morning and everything looked as it should

I guess, except someone has been out by my plants :( I had a few sticks and strings set up

and a couple of them were knocked down, and I dont think it was animals.

pics kinda suck, nothing real close up cause my nerves were kinda shot, and I almost pulled them right then and there, just over fear that the next time I go out, that they would be gone altogether.

also purple one smells so kick ass its not even funny, sticky as hell too.

I also noticed that the plant in the back right in the last pics leaves were starting to change color too.

anyone have any idea of what strain this might be??

or perhaps what relationship if any to a particular strain??

thanks folks

Really folks I just wanna get high right now, and I dont have any weed soo....

... tell me something nice...

Ok the purple color has WAY more to do with the plants genetics than the temperature. Not all strains will turn color in cooler temps, no even all plants from the same strain will change like that. Some strains will have different phenotypes. It's sorta like how someone may look more like their Dad than your Mom or some has blues (recesive trait) eyes but their parents both have brown eyes (dominant trait); this happens because both parents carry the recessive gene, each parent passes the blue recessive therfore tha child has blue eyes, this will happen 1 out of 4 times. Same concept with marijuana plant genetics, you got a purple phenotype on one plant out of 3.

Anyhow, that purple one looks like ALMOST all the trichs are milky, if it was my plant I would flush it now and pull it in 5-7 days. I don't wait for alot of trichs to turn amber myself because I prefer a nice clear active high not couchlock. The more amber trichs you get the more couchlock your weed will have. I pull mine with 80% milky, 15% clear, and 5% amber. This is just what I would do. :eyesmoke:

BTW I see you are in a rush to smoke but please at least dry and cure the purple plant right!!:mrgreen:
