I'm going to cut her down

Ok,afghani from seed 7 weeks veg 6.5 weeks flowering.All the hairs are brown and trichomes are clear on one plant others flowering same time are still clear except this one.Seems to be way ahead off every other afghani in this grow.Under 1000hps temps 25-30c-day----18-24c-nite,plenty of air intake and extraction.Do some of the same strain mature quicker than others.Info says flowering 8-10 weeks.Thanks to all that contributed to this first grow of mine,much needed and thankful.My next grow will definetly be better from what I've learned.When I started I didn't know to much but thought I did.Now My next question would be .My sativa is ready!!!! Finally seeing a few amber trichs so I decided to give it one last blast of 1000hps light up close and personal without burning her with fans on for next 2 day cycle before the almighty axe.Would it do anygood.Say turn trichs amber quicker to protect itself from the intense light and heat,which i read could be why trichs turn amber.I would think it would increase trich production.Thanks in sadvance Showgirl Thanks for feedback Showgirl

trichs turn amber when they ripen. not sure if you can speed that up or not. the one big cola looks pretty close. nice grow.

the ones in the first pic on the left look like they still have a lot of white hairs/new growth. everything else looks really good. not bad, you're a "grower" now. you can drop the newbie title.

Thanks first thing i did wrong was overferted and didn,t keep a record of what I was doing and missed the boat when it came time to fertilize because I did almost every time i wateredLucky I didn't kill every last one of them.I did a lot of flushing.It should get easier in the future.Showgirl

Listen to the man with the double d's. Let em live. When the hairs are almost completely brown and they actually start to wither. It seems like forever and everyday you want to chop chop. But every day they get a little better. Not enough to really see the difference but still better. If you take pictures daily of the same buds you can really see the changes over a three of four day period. That's the only way I've been able to keep letting them grow. Remember the plant will start to wither when its ready. Not just yellowing leaves but the buds start pulling inwards.

what do you mean by "Wither" and also, your saying that the buds kinda pull inward, meaning? like tighter to the stem, im a new bie and would love to know more about being able to tell if its done. Ive seen pictures of the cell like things, but i dont know where to look on the plant to find those trichomes . thanks for the info.

Great grow by the way, that baby is sweet, look like its a foot wide.lol. nice job!!!!
