Im growing some "Bagseed" and I need some help.

Whats good everybody? Well I'm pretty much going to cut to the chase. I germinated some pretty dank bag seed about twelve days ago and these damn things have stretched already. The stretching really isn't too bad until I figured out that I needed some more light and the seedlings were already root bound. So after a couple of hrs of researching and a trip to the garden center I decided to buy Fox Farms Oceans Forest. I transplanted over thirteen seedlings into nice sized cups and some into 6 inch pots. I already ordered a 400 watt Metal Halide light which should be arriving in a couple of days and tomorrow I'm going to buy myself PH up & down solutions. Now one of my biggest concerns is the shocking of the plants. I waited until all the seedlings were root bound since it was growing in a tight plant tray and I transplanted them into the Fox Farm soil. I watered them well and I even covered some stretched stem that some of the seedlings had, but not too much due to rotting later on. Im going to include some pictures so feel free to comment. I would very much appreciate some advice from anyone that is willing to provide. Thanks everyone, PEACE...

Ya dude those are super stretched haha... just bury up as much of the stem as you comfortable with, move the light closer.. That's really all you can do at this point, you might eventually have to prop them up to something..

well, he's right. get that light closer, bury them up to their first set of leaves, yes the entire stem! this will gaurantee they don't fall over. they'll grow thicker and stronger with a fan blowing across their leaves, also.

at this point a simple fluorescent bulb works well. It stays cool so you can put it real close so the plants will grow stout.

Thats what I have, I have the Garage light one with the hood for now. It has two cold white bulbs and it doesn't get hot. I ordered that damn 400 watt Metal Halide and it should be here within a couple of days. Another problem I seem to be running into is a slight yellowing and littttttlllleee brown spots on one seedling and another seedling's leaves seem to be crunching upwards and getting brown. I checked the PH and they're at 6.5. and thats pretty much it and by the way thanks for the help.

Just make sure to let the soil get good and dry all the way through before you water. - The roots grow faster and stronger when theyre searching for water. Good Luck Bro.

Wassup everyone!? Well I juss received my new 400 watt Metal Halide Light and juss cleaned up my veg area and set it up. Its a little ghetto but its clean, so please bare with me because Im going to hook it up little by liitle. I have great pictures that I took with my new camera and I would just like some feedback and advice from anyone that can provide. My plants are yellowing a little but I figure it's because I under watered them a little, but if its not and you expect something else let me know PLEASE. This is my first grow and on top of that it's bagseed. I ordered some Arjans Haze and it never came so now I have to work with what I have. So yea please give so feedback and if you have any questions or need any info let me know cuz Im always online. Oh If anyone could tell me if the height of my Metal halide reflector is far enough from the plants. I put my hands right above the plants and it doesnt seem hot so if that helps there you go. Well anywways juss leave me some feedback because I need it. GOOD LOOKS EVERYONE & PEACE...

Yo I'm starting to think that this whole website sucks. Everyone else is always getting info and I have to wait 30 years for mine. Can anyone tell me if my plants need fertilizer yet or when I should start. I see the plants are starting to turn a little yellow.

if its a couple of weeks, I started to give them nutes. I know big bloom, wont harm your plant. dont' worry, my post aren't always answered, but sometimes it is and the answers are good and bad. Sometimes your post has to be written different, also you got to be lucky people are atleast helping you out.

Well it's been about three weeks and some change, and I can see some yellowing starting on some of the plants. I juss bought some Grow big ferts by foxfarm and I'm going to start at half strength solution, Is that cool? Also I appreciate the feedback bro, keep em coming. Peace...

Yeah you should be fine starting the nutes. Just keep it at half strength and see how your plants react to it.

This is a bag seed that I stretched to almost 10 inches before I re-potted it and finally got the right lighting. Stick with it you'll make a few more mistakes before your done. Just keep reading this site and and have fun.

Do you think If I were to get a 1000 watt hps light over a 600 watt hps, the yield would suffer. Also if I were to get the 1000 watt hps light would it really increase my bill dramatically. Good Looks...

I would try & relax a bit & let nature take over - your light is just fine & the nutes that came with the FF should be good for a long time before you add other chemicals. Just let everything get a chance to adjust for a while.

For some reason the plants are gettng pale and some are yellowing. I have the light about three feet away from the plant, the PH of the yellowed plants are at 6.5 and Im watering with distilled water with a PH around 6.0-6.5. Im not sure sure what to expect so someone please leave their opinion.
