One thing I noticed is that it is still in a plastic cup. The roots get HUGE and need room. A 3 gallon bucket at the very least should be used by now. Also you can find a 150w hps for 20 bucks plus 10 for shipping. Search for a thread that I saw recently on here for the link. A small fan on the plant will also help strengthen the stalk. After all this you may still be fucked when the balls start showing! More plants up the odds of having a female. don't give up and if it dies then you try it again.

Well im on my first grow and im growing under my computer desk. Find a spot and light proof it and you won't have to worry.

to OP.
I've just told my mum I'm growing. She knows I smoke pot and she isn't really bothered (she used to smoke it when she was younger) she said, that my Dad won't be happy if he finds out, so if I pay for the added electricity bill, I only use what I yield for personals and I keep it on the downlow, she said its okay.

Maybe you should ask your parents some questions about how they feel about cannabis, or if they've ever smoked it. And on their answers, decide whether or not to confide.

yeah! thanks for the tip, im moving it into a bigger planter next week monday *when i water and feed her* but no doubt, i hope its not male, if it is, fuck it, imma make the best of it and smoke the leaves =P but i have a shit load of seeds. im just doing on by one. maybe i'll get lucky!

yeah my mother use to smoke pot ALL the time with my bio dad. my aunt would tell me that they would get blazed and play board games while watching fox news. lmfao. but ive gotten in trouble with cannabis real bad one time in 8th grade *first time using it and i rolled a funnel joint about the size of your wrist to your pinky* for laying on the bathroom floor baked. so im sure she would flip if she found it growing in my closet. =/. but we'll se what happens i suppose. my bio father would have no problems with it. but he lives a long ass ways away from me

im 16 too and im growin the stuff under my lizard tank
very limited space but mine is almost as tall as yours 1 week after planting
keep on growin
im so srewed when the stuff starts to stink in a month or two

im in the same situation except my step mom knows. I have grown mine outside for almost 3 months now and I think its starting to flower. Shes about 22 inches now and has dark green leaves and light green buds forming. Is this normal? Shes in a 1 gallon pot with miracle grow soil, at about 2 months I started adding some Peters all purpose plant food 20-20-20 about every 2 days for 2 weeks. Then about 3 days ago I put some 'Dynamite' micronutes 13-13-13. I also screwed up the other day and had it under my desk with a 23W cfl and had it too close, when I woke up a few of the leaves were cooked :/ and also I made a red LED mini light thing under my desk cuz I read it might be good for it. I had that on it at night probably 6 days a week since almost the beginning. And theres some wierd things on the leaves I will post updates with pics when I have a chance. These pics are from a week ago before any irregularities (wierd leaf things/cooked leaves). Also my friend told me to pick off the dead parts of the leaves so I did. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. BTW im a first time grower. :peace:

haha no doubt man! i finnaly took some of these peoples advise and actually put it under a light =P she's growing real well now. how is yours looking?
btw im fucked too if my mother finds out
