Need good seeds, first grow was trash got seeds from friend!

best is very subjective.. what one person thinks is best i might think is trash, or vice versa, but i doubt that, lol..

anyhoo's, more details are needed for watt you like, indica's, sativa's, autoflowers.. after we get that info, we might be able to steer you in the right direction..

you should check out tahoe og from the cali connection.. not the fems, the regular beans...
there is a grow / smoke report on here by my buddy the skunk munkie, and if that don't get you to want to grow it, well nothing will..

cali con also has a few other fire og's as well, but i'd stick to their reg's as they have been having some issues with their fems lately from what i've read..

blackseed's masterkush are OK and cheap. they're really fast flowering and compact with a buzz no more stony than skunk #1, but way faster and shorter. like other autoflowering strains though, you probably can't clone this as mine all flipped themselves quickly under 24h, but if you bred for seeds, you could fill up a sea of green quick with that strain. i'm keeping my red pheno for future breeding of compact & quick strains. i like to get high more, but i've had a lot stonier buzzes than that kush, so i at least was able to enjoy the buzz.

instead of a kush, if you want a foolproof med use strain, try northern lights #5. it's low odor, potent, high yielding, and easy to grow. it's a building block in tons of top strains. NL5 never goes out of style. flavor fads come and go, but NL5 gets the job done. i think breeders are doing NL5 autos too by now.

if you want something more skunky, mandala's hashberry is cheap and a popular cash cropper strain and his gear is very hearty and noob friendly. i didn't like that strain because it stunk a lot, but those who are after that love it in the reviews i've read.

If anyone recommends KC Brains.... just run.

i'm going to assume you are referring to the OG Kush types, and not the actual kush types. if you want the OGK types you're looking at Cali Connects Tahoe OG (stay away from their fem seeds, you've been warned), Double Barrel OG from Dankhouse, or Raskals Fire OG.

if you want actual kush strains you're looking at afgan kush by world of seeds, or afgan kush by Mr Nice seeds.

i agree with pretty much all of them other then alien.. you've got to be an idiot to pay those kind of prices for his gear..
