That doesn't seem very "jiffy" to me.
i had a coupon for their "signature service" which was gonna bring my price from $45 to $30. but they said because i didn't want them to clean my windows or vacuum the floors they had to charge me $42 for the "value" oil change.

i asked if they could just pretend. they said they already entered it into the system.

i left $30 on the counter and said they could figure it out.

fucking retards.

Saturday night I asked my wife to grab me some food on her way back home. It's 11:30 at night and she stops at Burger King. For some reason she has to wait 10 minutes to order and another ten before the girl comes to the window with her food. She opens the window holding the back of food and says "our registers aren't working". That's all. Nothing else. My wife waits 30 seconds and says "Yeah, so?" The girl says "I cant take your money so I can't give you any food." Remember, she is holding the sack of food. My wife is holding cash.

So the next day, I stop in and talk to the manager. She hears the story I tell her and says "our registers went down". That's all. I wait thirty seconds and that is the sum total of her explanation. So I ask her what happens to the food in this case. She says they throw it out. So I tell her that there are three options in a case like this...

1. Give the food to the customer for free - happy customer, no waste
2. Give the food to the customer and take some amount of cash (which might actually be against policy due to potential for theft) - mildly annoying but everybody gets what they want
3. Send the customer away after they waited twenty minutes and throw the food away. Waste food - piss off customer forever.

She says, "we can't give food away for free". I could go on but they truly act like my wife did something wrong and needed to be punished, or that she was a beggar or something.

I have now spoken to two people above her including the regional manager. Guess what, same thing.

I guess Burger King has lost our business. We spend over $20 per year there. :) I guess that's why.
