im unable to diagnose plant problem, can you?

this is my first plant. Everything seem to be going right/normal about 3 weeks after germination, but now my new set of leaves coming in seem to look thicker/puffier and a lighter green than the rest of the leaves and the main stem of the plant can no longer hold up its own weight of leaves, and the first two main leaves on the plant have slight curling upwards on the edges,

i water it with about 2 small dixie cups of water that sit out 48 hours before being given to the plant every other day. im doing a micro grow inside a small case, tempartures have not exceeded below 68F and no higher than 80F, im on an 18/6 light schedule and i have one fan running that is outtake of air.can any one help me on this? is this normal?

...hmmm, you didn't mention what type of pH balance'n you may or may not do. You need slightly acidic water when you water your plants. Be careful not to over water your plants....make sure it is really light when you pick it up before you water it , this is known as the "lift method", very important to soil growers...

you guys can goto my website, i have about 7 photos on there of my plant, i did some rearranging so that the stem could hold up the plant as youll see in the last two photos, on some of the photos youll see a bend in the stem, its not actually cracked thats just the way it devoloped

the reason why ur plants stem is so fragile is u need a fan blowin on them to stimulate wind so they can thicken up. also have u feed yet? if not they cood use sum N, foliage seems a lil lite to me, to fix ur stem problem jus add more soil to the pot and cover more of the stem and the lil curlin on the leaf cood b minor heat stress

You definitely need more light. That plant is stretching faster than it's stem can keep up with. A fan will help, but light is the main issue. Buy a reflector for that bulb, or add a couple more. You should have over 3000 lumens per square foot, and a 42 watt bulb with a good reflector, is about the smallest setup you should go with. A 65 watt would be even better. Ask riddleme, he's had alot of success using CFLs.

i went on vacation for a week and when i came back it was showing signs of magnesium deficiency, the older leaves were yellow with curling edges upwards with dark greyish spots on them...and suprisingly that weak stem had at least doubled in thickness it was like madness, and now theres like this old plant skin hangin from the stronger stem, but anyway i decided to cut the old yellow leaves as close to the main stem as possible and i went out and bought some epsom salt wich contains mg, i put some of that in deer park water shook well and gave it a good drink of that....im still waiting to see signs of proper MG now. i also switched my lights from an 18/6 light schedule to a 12/12 light schedule. Its already has signs of what gender its gunna be but im not sure yet, ill keep yall updated (im also gunna try to get pics)

if you guys are reading this post still, im unable to get pictures for the time being, but ever since adding epsom salt to the plant it is doing great it has about 10 new baby leafs coming in, and the old leafs are not turning yellow, and theres no curling, the plant is really starting to smell like fresh grinded up weed, the stem has about 5 different locations of 2 little white pistols on the main stem, so so far it showing signs of good health, and signs of it being female, guess im getting lucky here with my first grow, i never started low stress training and i dont think that i will. ill still keep yall posted on the process in about another two weeks from the date of this post , peace out

but any one have any clue as to why the leaves are goin back to yellow and tips of older leafs are dyin? its not mg defficiant or it just has to much mg,,possibly root bound?

yo you need Nitrogen not mag if it was mag only the edges ans the margins of the leave would be yellowing, they would also become hardened and crispy.

lots of ways to get nitrogen looks like you should have done some research before you just threw a couple seeds in the dirt.

http://www.foxfarmfertilizer.com/products_pom1.html http://www.espoma.com/p_consumer/tones_plant.html good organics. my advice though if you want that thing to be the most it can be you need to spend some more time on here doing some research as to what that plant needs. people are not going to hand you all the information you need whenever you ask and its best to know things ahead of time so when shit comes up with your grow you know what to do so your not waiting for someone to tell you and meanwhile your plant dies you know?

okay so i did what you said, did some research and found out that coffe grounds can be useful for cannabis as it provides nitrogen and some other minerals, and since you think it might be a nitrogen problem, i sprinkled a layer of coffe grounds on top of my soil, as i hear that the nitrogen would act as a "slow realease" into the plant. if this is true, do you think the leafs pale green color will be restored to a normal green within a few days?

Should be a day or so you will notice significant increase in green. I hope those were used coffee grounds, fresh ground is acidic and could cause you more problems. how much did you use?

oh and another thing fill the pot up the rest of the way or at least within 2 inches of the bottom set of leaves. More roots will sprout from the stem covered with dirt, and it wont fall over, and you wont have to water as often.
