So anyone know the specs to adjust a light cycle from 11 light to 15 as the buds are into the first turning them back to 11 after 3 days or so then the same on the second turning making female seeds of the mother which can be regenerated, cloned and mass produced for stablity wiht out back crossing whcih may destablize genetics in other areas leading to loss of potential for trait enhancement? I hear usually the tops are seedless and the bottom full of seeds. I imagine there is a flux to the proformance though I limited on space.

Best to balance he light. Any time Don Tesla. We need stablity and are about to start racing with some scary things in the industry I fear. Heres some water grown herb with castings clay and cheap peat. I plan on cloning my strains and seeding the genetics I want to save on space and electric. I would try balancing the added light before and after the cycle though I could be wrong regarding the most productive means.

I think hermie flowers are from making plants hermie with silver or acids

i am not putting down your method, i just dont understand your english. You are saying no hermies, but you take a female in flower at 11on/13off, change the light to 15on/9off for 3 days? then back to 11on/13off and this will cause seeds to form on this mother plant?

It sounds as if you dont have personal experience in this but have heard of this method of producing S1 seeds.

Sounds are many times heard differently through different ears. I breed thousands of seeds this way last season. Not a single hermie flower and not a single male. Not much experience though any indoor grower who lives in the woods running a pertetual will tell you that when the power goes out there are a couple seeds coming and those seeds are always female on flowers with out a hermie. I used to spend 8 hours a day supercropping plants. I knew every hair. Never a male flower, never a male seed.

Why do you say in your OP "so anyone know...i hear...i imagine" if you know the technique well and have made thounds of s1 seeds? Female plants cant make viable seeds without some kind of pollen

I said what I said, in the manner in which I wrote it, to attempt to discover whether or not anyone knew and was willing to share or if no one knew or if some one knew though decided, I'm a fert grower and think hydro is cool because I can pretend it's quality and make a killing off the trade, and so that greedy nature may have restricted others growth on a growth site of all places. As for your second statement, regardless of whether it was a shared nature or not, we will have to disagree on this though I have a request for clarity if you might be so kind. Have you tried and failed, do you have reasoning or did someone tell you this and you fell short on the follow up?

Not a single hermie flower. The other dude must have had a light leak. I just hope the majority of seed growers stop with the phosphorus so they dont destroy the seed stock. Inbreeding weakens genetics too. I want to get into tissue culture and take samples of plants with no symptoms of stress or issues. I feel like if I got one of every major seed and grew it in maine, 1 in every 10 would not have mildew. I do not blame the state or the plant. :) CHEERS

What? Back crossing usually is used to lock in traits and stabilize a strain.

What's your question? You worded it kind of weird.

Backcrossing stabilizes a trait though weakens the strains genetics making strains more susceptible to stress. There is a reason incest is frowned upon other then ethical reserves. There are better ways. As for a question, what makes you think I have a question? My hope is to not see the genetic stock go to hell with hydro farmers thinking they know anything besides greed and laziness. Im here to teach. If you have questions feel free to ask. If I had a question for you I would ask why tissue culture would not be the way to isolate a desired trait? Then just take that and put it to seed form with the method I outlined

Ah you quoted an older post. I just wrote it that way to spark interest. I know this method to work as it is how I make seeds. With all the bad energy on grow sites now I thought it would avoid arrogance if I told people by asking. Perhaps I was wrong in this, perhaps not. If there was interest I would have perhaps gave some insight though does not seem to be much. Ill check back in ten years

You mean to tell me you never use inter breeding with cannabis? If not that means every time you breed its a new f1 cross.

Sorry but you have to inter breed to carry a line on. What do you think heirloom seeds are?
