In doubt help me identify if this is cannabis or not (Dominican Republic)

Hi...Im from Dominican Republic. I have had this plant for about 5 days now. I have an older uncle who smokes weed and throws the seeds on the grown everytime he smokes, by doing this this plants started growing by themselves. He showed them to me and said they are cannabis plants, That they usually grow and he always cuts them out so I asked if I could take one, I took this one and replanted it to see if it would survive. It seems as it is ok, but looking from pics on the internet of how they should look during the first weeks, I started to doubt its cannabis.

I searched to see if anyone posted pics of Dominican strain but nothing so far so here i am posting the pics because I obviously dont want to waist my time if its not cannabis thanks in advance.

As far as I know, there is no such thing as a "dominican strain". However, once I retire and move there, I'll definitely make one !!!!!!!

That would be a good move. I read somewhere the weed here its the same as Jamaican.
