In the Zone Produce Ltd newest posted lp

Theres a guy trying to start the first one in my province (NF). He has a hydroponic lettuce setup already so naturally the next step is cannabis production on a mass scale.
 
Out of all the applications sent, HC would not have licensed them if the proposed set up were not up to their standards. Still, that doesn't assume their produce will be good. I'd be curious of a review once they start shipping the medicine to patients.
 
No mention of what strains they are going to produce or prices. Only words like "boutique" and "premium". :-?
 
I received an email response.

"Thank you for your interest in In The Zone Produce. We are getting organized and our website will have more information added on a continual basis. I am hoping our forms will be available to you on the web site by the week end.
We are located in the Okanagan B.C. We will be offering a variety of strains with four options at a time. Our price will range from $5 – $8 and our projected sales will be mid June or sooner. Our site will list the types of strains offered at the time and some info about them and the final % of Thc and Cbd’s will be listed once we get back the results of the analytical report. The four strains we will probably be offering will be White Kush, Purple Candy, Hindu Kush and a specialty local strain from this area called GO (green ogopogo). All of our marijuana will be grown in conditions monitored by our on staff Microbiologist with Organic Practices. Quality is going to be the focus of our farm and we look forward to serving you."
 
4 strains, 2 of which are going to be a kush, surprise! Hope everyone likes kush since that seems to be all were going to get out of most these LPs. I wonder if we'll ever see an LP that understands strain selection is important and will offer 100+ strains. I doubt it since that would require actual grow knowledge and some basic understanding as to how cannabis works as medicine. I can hope though.

What kind of strains in particular are you looking to see from the LPs?

I'm still experimenting with strains to find what best works for me even after 10+ years, which is why a wide selection is important for any new or old patient. Out of what I have tried and that does work I've only seen 1 strain offered so far by any of the LPs, that being crimea blue. My conditions seem to respond best to indicas and indica dominate hybrids, combination of THC and CBD. I find using hash is extremely helpful for quick and lasting relief as well, too bad LPs can't make any.

For me,

Proper CBD-rich strains, like Cannatonic, or Harlequin, or any from the CBD-Crew. Something with at least a 1:1 or, even better, a 2:1 CBD:THC ratio
For "medicinal" THC-rich strains, strong indicas, like Afghani, NL, etc..., or classic strains, like BB, etc...

I think "Kush" strains mainly taste like ass, and really are best suited for getting "stoned" and primarily designed for "recreational" purposes.

You think? That is just it. You lack knowledge in the way you think. You need to open your eyes and realize there are people who need THC for medical purposes. You really need to do some reading.

I enjoy reading your posts.
An fyi...Canadian regulations require vigorous batch testing per pull ( about $1k ) includes mould, pesticide, thc /cbd, and heavy metals, etc...
