Increasing CBD

Hey everyone, I was reading about the antipsychotic factors of CBD, and was wondering if there is anyway to increase the amount of CBD in my buds.

resin seeds: cannatonic, harlequin, sour tsunami, centennial seeds: otto#1, and anything from cbd crew.

there are a few others but those are your best choices.

i heard that running your plants a few extra weeks in flower will degrade the thc and turn it into cbd.
anyone able to verify or contradict?

incorect....thc degrades into cbn...the sleep inducing and imo worthless cannabinoid...cbd is another precursor to thc so therefore any environmental conditions that boost thc production would be eliminated or reversed...ie use no uvb, low temps, higher rh less intense lighting or further distance from the light...yes the genetics are what you need for high cbd, but you can have plenty enough effective cbd levels for treatment if you just make hemp oil or hash oil whichever moniker you prefer and still be well high too

CBD actually gos down if you let it go long. CBN is what THC turns into when it degrades. I seen a study where they harvested Harlequin at 8 weeks, 9 weeks, and 10 weeks. THC and CBD both went down after week 8. Really interesting.

The only way you would be able to 'increase the CBD level of your buds' is to make a concentrate of some sort out of them.
