Inda-Gro Induction Lighting

First, I want to go over the negatives, because they'll be softened by the rest of what I have to say, however they might be important to you.

The box have the Inda-Gro logo pretty large on the side, and says "Agricultural Induction Lighting" written in large enough letters to read without trying to.... that's actually it, really.

I received my light earlier today after ordering only yesterday, I don't live too far from their location in San Diego, but that certainly speaks for how quickly they are processing things which can be an issue with businesses of their size.

It took a little to really warm up, however, that's suppose to be normal for these lights when they are new, makes sense, chemicals need time to spread and what not. After running it for an hour it was still running cooler than the dual 54W T5s over my fish tank - epic, given the 90°F+ weather here for about half the year, an A/C can only do so much.

I called them to mention that having "Agricultural Induction Lighting" written on the outside probably wasn't the best idea (literally, I'm not mad or anything), and ask about a "warranty void if removed" sticker on the box (rather than on the light, though there was one there as well, the one on the box didn't matter, but it was suggested to hang onto it given the 10 year warranty), and ended up having a surprisingly nice and reassuring conversation.

I'm going to do a grow journal, 30 chemdawg clones in an aeroflo2 30, GH nutes, and hopefully enough time to keep on top of the journal this time! The main reason I made this post is that I'd been craving more info, but there wasn't a lot of accessible experience... so is there anything you'd like to see?

EDIT: Oh, I got a 400W lamp, just one.

hey. I am interested in the induction lights also. I have a 6'long by 2'wide by 4'tall cab. do you think I 400 would be suitable? what about heat. Thanks for any input.

also did you get the bi spectrum or 2700k only spectrum? I found 2700k spectrums for commercial use. Not sure if they are the same?

Crap, sorry I missed this, Inda-Gro only sells one type, the dual spectrum versions generally just have a coating on one half. So far the heat hasn't been an issue at all, it's way cooler than the two 400W HPS in cool tubes I had before. From what I see so far (grow journal: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/429374-inda-gro-400w-aeroflo2-30-a.html) they are most effective in about a 2x4 area, and outlying plants will probably be fine as long as they have enough healthy leaves (mine did not, but they're exploding now).

I would recommend Inda-Gro as they are US based (San Diego), their customer service is amazing (you have to support those businesses if you're tired of people who can't understand anything, which you should be :P), and they have a 10 year warranty... Better to spend an extra $100-200 now than $700 later, right?

This is Herry from Oppeo Lighting, one professional supplier of induction lamp and LED lighting. Both of these lights have their own advantage for different application, induction lamp mainly used for industrial and commercial, LED will be better used for residential or commercial which need small wattage. Welcome to visit www.oppeo.com or email oppeolighting@gmail.com
In a word, induction lamp and LED are really the 4th generation lighting source in 21st century. It is good substitute of florescent lights, incandescent lights, high pressure lamp, metal halide lamp and energy saving light.

I have been marketing induction lighting used as grow lighting for more than two years now. Stay away from the lights made overseas, which is all of them, except Inda-Gro, they tend to break down not long after you fire them up and it is then a real hassle to get them repaired, it can take one to three months, if then. Also, the phosphors are thick and do not have an optimal spectrum for both growth and flowering.

Whereas I have only seen one breakdown with Inda-Gro in the year I have been selling them, it took just a couple overnight deliveries to fix the problem, very fast very reliable. I will sell no other induction grow light than Inda-Gro.

There are informational and actual user grow videos at this YouTube channel.
