Indoor#2 - DR100, 400 watt digital switchable, Soil, Organic. AK-48 & Special Kush

Watered this morning with my brew...
ph'ed down to around 6.6 but i didn't wanna go any lower because before I started it was up around 8.5 and I didn't want to risk kiling to many of the good bacteria with such a swing in PH.
ppm's were around 640...

the small accident was, unfortunate....

I'm trying to get across the fim'ing and what it did; I'm happy with two out of the three results so far. The real short fat one which i believe is the more indica phenom of this strain was a bust. (Pic number 7) I guess I didn't take enough off the top because it is virtually growing like nothing happened at all to it, besides every single new leaf being nothing but a nub. A healthy nub, but stubby little nubs no less.
Pic #5 and #6 are of the one it worked the best on, it's going to have 4 tops for sure.
Then there is Pic number 4. I can't wait to see what it turns into, something is rumbling inside this little piece of stalk... it looks to me like it could have it's own zip code in enough time... *fingers are crossed*

Ya they look good soil is forgiving you will be fine. Just keep it in check and get a good moister meter none of that $5-$20 bullshit as you know from my exp. but some do work good I just have had bad luck lately.
Your leaves look good though they are upright slightly shedding heat off that's what you want.

They are really stretching, if I didn't know any better I'd say they just started 12/12... it's time to put in the screen... still devising a way to water well without moving the pots... without buying a large tray

The stretching I can only help you with exp. for me a lot of stretching with diff. strains my trainwreck was a stretcher but under same light my church was short. But if you know strain then you will know whats up.

I was using 1gal milk jugs too water and still can with my pot to screen height(not for long) but other night I mixed my nutes in 1gal jug and then for each plant I poured nutes in a 16oz glass I believe or a little less and used that to get underneath screen worked great little more work but whats it all for then. And water slow take a min or more to lightly water I noticed this made a big help in not wasting nutes and having the soil soak it up good instead of it running straight through it. Just my exp. so far.

Or you could do the whole nine yards and water pump your nutes rite too pots. Its def. something too look into my buddy did this and it worked great and took the work out of watering just kept a res. like hydro ph'd and everything and would just turn on pump too water and then sit back and watch and check moisture. Its a lot of prep to get it all going but looked like smart setup.

All good advice Organic, the pre-watering method your talking about was something I've read about before and that Golden Ganja imparted upon me during my last grow. It really does help the soil soften up and prepare to take up more water. I'm thinking about just putting some plastic bags around the bottom of the pots to keep from getting water all in my DR100... I'd love to setup something that could be a more permanent solution, I've even thought about making a res like you spoke of and setting it outside of the tent higher then the plants are and running tubes into the tent and into each pot, that way all I would have to do to water is pour my nutes or tea into the res and let gravity do the rest. My tent is already slightly raised where it's sitting so setting up another tube to drain wouldn't be to hard, especially if I had a flood tray in the bottom of the tent. With every grow things get more and more refined it seems, one day, CO2!

@TR- I know it's my grow and all - but I don't see a lot of stretching on your girls.... really?

@TO- i didn't know you grew the chuch - I have 3 church's in flowering right now... and one is giving me hell! It acts like it has an Mg deficiency showing brown on it's leaves... the other 2 are beautiful and perfect! What's up with that?

I guess that did sound silly, what I meant was a lot of stretching for a indica dominant strain; it's just more than I imagined from this type plant that is toted to remain so short.
Man do I wish I had the room and resources to do a larger variety of plants, I love seeing how different genetics pan out.

The Church was a good plant nice and short with a lot of red and white hairs I could of went longer on flowering but was a total newb on the trichs and when too harvest best stone for me. I could of done a lot better with her but first grow and under not the best conditions. Humidity really prolonged the flowering I think. Plus prob other factors.

Somebody once told me variety is king!

I'd say that's pretty boss to me...

I'd love to upgrade to a 600 watt and just reserve the grows till winter, that's the only time I could manage all that heat, then I could squeeze in a few more plants and more strains!

yeah - I'll be buying a portable A/C unit come march or so - because it's averaging 40 degrees outside where I live right now - and that's the only reason the garage can manage that kind of heat - after today... there will be 3 1000w between my 4x8 and 4x4.... so A/C where the intake is will be a must!

That is going to be great! I can't wait to see the setup your working on having, just phenomenal! (already phenomenal for that matter!)
I used a 8,000 btu portable AC all though the summer last grow and will never do that again... it cost me a small fortune in electricity to run it 24/7 (which I had to because of how hot it is where I live.) Only way I'm going to be able to continue to grow in the summer is if I figure out a way to bring in air from the air conditioned house. Until I punch some holes in some block walls that aint happnin though! I'll figure something out one of these days... it's just so much easier to raise temp and humidity then lower it....

hells bells TR - duct that cool air through the attic?? you have 6 or 8 inch ducting for your lights right?? run it through! Sounds ghetto - but whatever works... I just looked at A/C's and the choices for portable A/C's on wheels are 10000 btu or 12000 btu... I'm told 12000 btu has to run on 220... and can't even run on 110... so for me 10000 btu!

Cool air through the attic? I'll admit I'm lost...

Before the portable AC I have now, I had a 10,000 btu window unit. It kept a small bedroom about 68 degrees in the 90+ heat. Worked wonderfully. Too bad I'm not in a situation that I could still use that unit. How will you vent your AC out of the garage?

One of the ladies got a little too thirsty for my liking because she started to droop a bit. Brewed yesterday and watered tonight, I kept the tea high in Nitrogen by including worm castings and Peruvian sea bird guano, and the usual ingredients.
The hydro store was closed today, hello it was Sunday, woops.
I did find these trays somewhere else though, when I'm done I can even use them for starting flowers for the yard this spring thanks to all the peat pellets they came with.
Things are looking good. These are some seriously sized leaves (that I've grown), my hands are big, and these fan leaves are bigger.

This is the plant that the FIM totally failed on, doing nothing but make the leaves grow short, it was now the tallest of the girls so I topped her really high, i'm interested to see what FIM'ing so high eventually does...View attachment 1373202

I've never topped such a tall plant... it's still getting taller faster then the others! I'm going to let the plants get thirsty again so I can bend them more easily and put the screen in very very soon.... I think these trays are going to work out great. I think the biggest hurdle this time is going to be SMELL.
