Indoor CFL week 3 flower and beyond

Hey guys. I wanna start a post for my plants but im too tired to really fill up the details now but here's some pics. growing white widow and tahoe og (and some bagseed straight to 12/12) Hoping to get some feedback on how they look for this stage and for cfl's

Did you veg them at all? if those are straight twelve twelve then they may be on the right path. If there was any veg time though I would say that they look a little on the smaller side

I vegged the white widow for either 4 days or 11 days and the tahoe og was about 17 days but had severe root moisture issues for the first 10 12 days I don't want them big I wouldn't mind another 4 or 6 inches though

Im not sure if you are going to get another four to six inches but if you do let me know how you did it. they definitely look like you ahve got them in good health though

yeah im not counting on it. i bet i will get another 2-4 inches. they will be starting week 4 this saturday and both of these plants are 9-10 week flowering strains so if i have another 6 weeks left i figure they'll get reasonably taller. I dont mind either way. for my first grow i am very pleased and i really wanted to do this so i could get a hang of growing. then once i move out ( still living with my parents, they have no idea im growing and i guarantee they wont find out). i'll go all in with a HPS and get some serious growing done. The Tahoe OG smells SO FUCKING good if you smell it up close, the white widow has a good smell too but im much fonder of the OG funk

BTW, i have to say Tahoe OG is the BEST smelling plant i have ever had the pleasure to smell in my life. I havent seen a huge amount of strains while growing but a good enough amount of them to say Tahoe OG is fucking intoxicating. if it comes out good im growing straight cali connection shit. either way my next grow will have some SFV OG and some Deadhead. anybody have experience with Deadhead OG (SFV OG x Chem Dawg 91)?

I'm no expert, but nice grow, how many cfls? Watts? Happy growing man

there's 145 watts CFL in 8 bulbs. i have 4 on top (2 cool white and 2 warm white total 84 watts) 2 warms on the left side (26 watts) and 2 warms on the right side (35 watts) and i also have 2 T8 fluorescent fixtures each one with 2 40 watt bulbs so that's 160 watts of tube fluoros making it a total of 305 watts.

Here's a picture of my setup. it is very basic and very cheap, most of the stuff i gathered around the house besides some bulbs and direct socket to plug connectors for the CFL's. I have spent no more than 30$ on equipment ( i had fluoro fixtures in my garage, i still have 3 more, id like to set up a real efficient vertical lights system. I spent 24 dollars on the clones and have a bunch of seeds from friends. They were bagseed but not from any mids. some nice high quality purple. It's all high quality in the Bay Area , we are very spoiled here.

Also, for those of you thinking they look small, with CFL's you don't want large plants. They should definitely be under 24" and I think they should stay at 20" or below. If they get tall CFL's will be quite ineffective, that's why I have bulbs on the side, I'd like to add 4 more bulbs so the plant is just circled with light (I definitely favor my white widow but my Tahoe OG is doing well nonetheless). Buds will be thick and dense as long as plants are kept small under CFL. I saw a post on this forum somewhere where a guy was doing a CFL grow and his plant was a good 4 feet or so and he harvested like 60 grams and it looked really stretched and airy loose buds. I don't mind growing a small plant if it is quality bud. but i dont want a tall plant that harvests the same weight but you can fill a trunk with the buds

I have a question. would it be bad for me to cut off the little sucker node on the bottom of my white widow?

Go for it, would have been better to clone it before flowering but too late now.

you would have to be careful but you could have let it veg for a few days and done it

3 weeks flower fully completed yesterday and my plants are looking very good. Im just having some issues with the CFL's touching some fan leaves here n there and causing minor burns but i'm not concerned. MY OG is now blowing the White Widow away in terms of looks, the buds arent bigger but they just look fucking gorgeous. Also my little 12/12 from seed is doing pretty good. I started adding bud candy to my 2 flowering clones. Heres some pics...

My Indica looking 12/12 from seed. Just gave her her first small dose of nutes because she was looking hungry. The center area is nice and lush green now

Im telling you guys the scent of Tahoe OG is something to behold. I could only imagine bud/trichome production with HPS at this stage. First 2 weeks of flower it had a really even lemon kerosene type thing going on and just a few days ago its changed a little bit i dont know how to expalin it its like super BOLD Lemon with a trail of sour at the end its a fuckin aphrodisiac


I forgot to mention the White Widow smell is very good too. Its flavor has also taken on a new boldness I wonder if it is the bud candy, i have only used it 2 times though starting about a week ago. The White Widow is a little more pinesol + skunk like it doesnt have the power that the OG Kush has. Im trying to think of a way to explain it its like The OG's smell has more volume

How much bigger do the buds grow from here? day 21. I'm looking for a guide or something that is really detailed into the plants flowering process step by step for example something that goes into detail into the plants processes week by week if not even day by day. Anybody have a good link for something like this?

Looks nice. i will plant ww 12/12 as you. I want to ask .whats the height and what size of pot are you use?
Now i growing Big Bang auto and i use 6 Litre pot but i think is big next time i use 4,5 or max 5 litre pots because the grow area is small 60x60 cm for 5 plant

Harvest make fellow pretty amped up. I blame it on the smell of that fresh bud and anticipation..lol..rw
