Indoor Closet Grow Questions

Hey im gonna be doing a closet project & I was wondering if my setup im planning on using would be any good.
Im planning on buying 1 Blue Dream, 1 Grape Ape , & 1 L.A Confidential . All clones from a dispensary I know of in my local area. I have a rather large closet but im not looking to use the whole thing , so im going to cut off a section of my closet and make a grow section of my closet that you cant really even see unless you open one of the closet doors that you usually wont open. In this little boxed off section of my closet im gonna have the walls lined in mylar. I was thinking I should only need about a 400 watt light for such a little space & only three plants. I am planning on using fox farms ocean forest 1\3rd soil 1\3rd perlite 1\3 peat moss. i was gonna try and see if I couldnt get the GH 3 Part Nutes for em or something nice. Ill have nutes figured out. Im just thinking about ventilationand how I would go about doing it.

I run a very similar sized cab that can fit 3 plants under a 400. You are correct to worry about ventilation. It can get too hot. But even if its not too hot the plants still want fresh air. You need to find a way to pull air from the top of the closet to outside. A small inline fan pulling through the light hood works wonders. Good luck.

If you are dividing your closet, put a vent hole near the top through the divider. Fan pulls air into the plant less section.

Bro i would suggest using panda film vs mylar in that space. I've found there are no hot spots on panda film imo.

Also im doing a 400 watt closet grow as we speak. 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 5 and it took a 20 inch box fan cut through the side wall to solve my heat issue. but then again i am far from a pro. good luck

In small space like this it don't matter what you put on the walls, it can easily get to hot. A cool tube or enclosed hood with fan pulling thru will keep temps down and you put lights closer. Personally, I just got rid of all the Mylar and panda and painted flat white. Easier to clean and cheap.

get a cooled hood and drill a hole in your ceiling. put tube from hood though ceiling. connect high cfm fan inside attic to tube. :). works great for me.
