I have 4x4 for the corners and im going to use 2x4 for the bracing along the bottom. In my head the forces being exerted outwardly aren't great. But regardless im adding bracing

I don’t think it’s a big deal but the sides for sure will bow out. Over time the soil settles and pushes out. You could put a cable in between but maybe a little over kill
All my outdoor ones are 2 2x8 stacked they even bow a little.

Appreciate hearing from someone who uses beds. Thanks for the input!

Nice, you’ll be stoked on the bed. The plywood will keep your soil damp longer than fabric too. Less work watering which is always a plus

I absolutely love that no one thought to mention "hey maybe mixing 300 gallons of soil might suck". Working in my gas mask pouring sweat using a broken shovel is quite the trip. Decided I needed an abundance of beers to ease my pain. At this rate im thinking ill spend a week or so mixing for a couple hours each day just to make sure I really get it mixed.

Yep but at least when your done your done lol. I just finished my first round in my 3x3 beds and I'm spoiled already by the labor and time saved already in just one round.

Being a professional woodworker, you may reach out to me if you need any help regarding building the framework. It easy stuff honestly. All you need is some lumber and a wood sander. Here's a great wood sanders guide to help you familiarize yourself with this tool. Hope it helps. Good luck with this endeavor of yours!
