Indoor Garden Watt Tips

Then we are agreed. My understanding is that the guy is trying to decide on what to buy, since he's asking about what wattage to aim for. Otherwise I'm assuming we'd get the typical "is this enough watts for...?" And fluoros is not cheap like people think, all parts of installation considered.

The CFL set up I'm using runs about 75 USD when all said and done. And that's just for one plant and probably not enough. It's two 55w and two 42w bulbs. It's my first grow, so if it goes well then I may look into upgrading- I, by no means, am commercial. It seems to me that, yes, HID's are tried and true and generally overall better producers, but it also seems that everyone must choose what's best for them/suits their individual needs. The question of "how much wattage do I need" seems to be the wrong type of question anyway- if the reasoning behind it is- "How much can I get away with, and not spend, and squeeze by?" Then I'd say you're in the wrong hobby! lol
