Indoor growing beginner (Need Advice/Help)

So, I plan to start growing these seeds


Under this light:

With whatever DECENT soil I can find.

I'm brand new to growing, and I would like any experienced insight, advice and information.

My first questions are:

How far should I keep this light from the plant?
When, if at all, should I change the hours of light?
Would it be better to set up a grow spot in the basement or the attic?
How often should I tend to my plant(s), and how?
After the plant is finished with both growth stages, what is the best bud drying method?
And so on. Any beginner information that you might find useful, please link and explain.

As conversation evolves, I'll share more strains that I intend to grow.
I'm sure I'm going to need more information switching from an "autoflowering" seed to a non auto.

My advice... if you're brand new, start with hydro oh, and the search function works great too. Read the stickies. Welcome to the board.

Please tell me you habe read up a little before planning all this? Start micro like 2-4 plant grow box micro a miniature grow room and it helps to isolate ur plants it also helps you to learn ALL of the factors that will enhance and stun ur growth cuz lets face it mistakes are bound to arise.
