Indoor/outdoor

ok, so i set up a small grow room in my shower for 5 plants, but because of money i could only afford a light set-up that produces 4800 lumens. so heres my question.

Timing the average daylight in my area i only get about 11.5, i've been running them 18-6 under the 4800. would it shock the plants if i kept them outside for the 11.5 of real sunlight then transferred them back to the set up for the remainging 6.5 hrs? temps are average.

thanx alot guys, you guys have the best advice.

**one love**

in simple terms YES! be more specific as to the lights you have hps, cfl, mh, how many watts? if they're vegging under a fluoro i'd keep them on 24/7 personally but that's up to you... when you bring plants from indoors to outdoors you have to harden them off, 1 hour for a few days, then go up to 3 hours for a few days, etc. plus your plants are still seedlings, when they have around 4-6 nodes (not just 4-6 leaves) they'll be ready to go outside with fewer problems... light are crucial to your grow, you can get bigger buds outside because sunlight can't be beaten, but around here the bugs are destined to get on your plants at some point. so you have to be careful bringing them outside. goodluck growing!

ive grown a plant outside then brought it in at night so it could get 24 hrs, it grew well but you have to be care full about the initial shock. going from indoor light to direct sunlight will burn theleaves and stunt the plant like andy said. but once it gets adjusted it should do fine and i think this would work best if you start when the plant is young. ..just my 2cents..
