when is the best time to switch to 12/12? Will it show any sign? Or just switch to 12/12 when I think it grow big enough?

If you have 3 ft to play with but have to stay 1 ft below light you have 2 feet left therefore 12” plants

Thanks for the tips! So as long as I keep it 20/4, it will keep in veg-stage and grow bigger and bigger? Or will it stop growing somehow?

It will keep getting bigger and bigger. Like they stated above depending on how high your grow environment is. They double is size after flipping 12/12. So if they are to big now. You can start topping and training them with LST and keep them low give them a week to adjust to what you did and flip your lights!

10 weeks now in a 2.5fx2.5fx5f tent, using a 100W LED, just transplant to a 10 gallon pot, now the top is 30 inches height. I have a bigger tent , 3.5fx3.5fx7f with a 400W led, now using for 12/12 flowering another plant. may need another 10 weeks.

I want to wait for 2 more months, I have a bigger tent with a 400 led, but it is now flowering, may need 2 more months. then I can transfer this to there. what do you think?
It will probably be much too big. You can, of course, cut it back down and and remove excess tops. It can be done, but it may be a bit overwhelming.

one more reason is this plant start seedling at 4/11/2021, I don't know what strain is it, will it any chance an autoflower? it just 2 months old from now, I wonder I should wait one more month and see.
