Indoor Sativa

First off sorry for all the metric sizes to all you guys that still use imperial.

I have an indoor setup with a tent that is 2 meters high.
The pots i use are 30 cm high, and the light would be 25 cm high or so.
That leaves 145 cm of growing space.

I veg my Sativas to 30 cm high and then flower them.
The damn things grow like crazy and hit the light and then burn.
Yup in flowering they get 5 times bigger than the size they started with. It takes about 2 weeks to grow that much.

I am looking for suggestions from people that actually grow Sativa indoors as to what is best to do.

I dont want a run down on Sativa vs Indica, i have chosen Sativa.
I dont want an explination of how to (Top, Supercrop, LST, ScrOG) i have read all of these.

For those that actually grow stretchy Sativa indoors, what do you find the best way of making them bushier and shorter?

Thanks.

I read about a guy who trained his plant all the way around the pot edge in a circle then cut the top off. He had a circle growing upwards ... that sounded amusing.

I was also tempted to top twice and then tie back the 4 colas as a topping/LST compromise.

has anyone had any experience with either of these 2 methods ?

i prefer sativa also ,but i do have plenty of room ,but i do tie it down rather than top it ,supercropping as far as i understand will delay your plants ,so unless you are very patient ,i would try tie ,or bend with weights i just tie some small fishing weight on to the part i want to bend ,and dont really remove them until i harvest ,it will take much longer with pure sativa but worth the wait in my opinion ,as i like that kind of high and am not concerned about yeild which i guess indica gives you and quicker ,but each to there own.:peace:
