Indoor to Outdoor Lighting Question

Hi, I'm growing two Blue Dream and two Strawberry Cough seeds. My plan is to start them next week inside
under a 8 bulb fluorescent t5 light fixture. I plan on putting them out mid-May to early June depending on the weather conditions. My question is what lighting schedule should I put them on? I do not want them to switch to the flowering stage as soon as I put them outside. Would I start them at 24/0 the first week, then 18/2 the next and so on until it meets the outside light schedule?

for starting seeds I run 24/0 once rooted and first set of true leaves I run 18/6 with my lights coming on roughly same time as sunrise
And never had a problem putting them out mid May with them starting to flower

Why not just germ them indoors and put them out when they pop. They won't mature enough to flower until May and by then the daylight hours are long enough if that's all the seedlings know.

Other wise you could run 18/6 the same time as daylight hours and just knock 10-15 mins a day off the timer until you are close enough to the actual day light hours.

I live in upstate Ny, our growing season is short(May-October if your lucky). Theres still about a foot of snow on the ground, I don't think I would be able to plant outside until early May. These are sativa dominant strains, I'm not sure they would have enough time to grow and finish before the first frost hits.

How feasible do you think it would be to pull a lb off of each blue dream plant? Was planning on using two 65 gallon smart pots, I have around 150 gallons of Subcool supersoil from last year leftover.

Blue Dream probably will be around 2nd week of october. That's about when it finishes in southern oregon.
