Industrial Cannabis

Ok, so I have become very interested in growing Industrial Cannabis, because in the state where I live if I have 4 or less Industrial Cannabis plants that meet THC requirements, it is legal(no permit needed). So It is a form of Cannabis I can grow to learn, and practice new things on. Plus the seeds are cheap AF. I bought 5600 seeds for 10 bucks (Only if we could buy Indica seeds that cheap). I can't seem to find any information about the growing part of it. Does it grow like Cannabis Indica/Sativa? Is it autoflower? Is there anything I should be cautious about? Diseases I should know about? I am sure you know what I want to know by now. Any info would be awesome. Thank you.

Lots of information on growing Hemp. Your state should even have a Hemp council.
Its great for fibre and the seeds are tasty after de- hulling and full of Omega 3.

Tip:
Grow Dense
Because the end game is different from regular cannabis, prepare to change the way you go about growing the plant. Grow dense by planting seeds close to each other. A healthy hemp field should consist of hundreds to thousands of hemp plants that are each comprised of one single stalk. While a cannabis farm might look like an apple orchard, an industrial hemp field will look like a corn or wheat field.

Ok so I found out a lot more info about the seeds I bought. It is a true Ruderalis. It's strain name is Finola. It is the most common type of Ruderalis grown for CBD. It is an autoflower. It contains little to no THC. Grow time is 130 days. It grows to around 4 foot. It is native to Finland. It also performs best when grown in massive fields. However if grown indoors it is best to grow in 4s, Perfect for me. Here is a link to the breeders site of Finola Ruderalis Cannabis. ( finola dot fi ) . I bought these seeds off Ebay. Now that I have the info I was looking for. I thought maybe I should post it here, so anyone else with the same questions can have an easy answer to any questions.

I understand most of you guys wouldn't grow this stuff. I am growing it for several reasons. I want to experiment with breeding. It is a great practice plant. I don't want to spend a bunch of money on good quality seeds to learn growing. I want to start on something that is cheap, and can be crossbred with any future strains I may grow, for autoflowering. I am very interested in making my own strain from scratch. I know this sounds like a lot of work, and I am sure it is. However I am on disability, I do not have a job. So it gives me something to do. Who knows I could create something truly profound. We all have to start somewhere. I am choosing to start with Ruderalis. Also because I am a new to growing Cannabis, I won't have any legal problems to be concerned with. We all know nubs make mistakes. Lets avoid as much hassle as possible while I learn.

You'll never come up with anything "profound"....for smoking/euphoric effect....from "hemp". Ditchweed crossed with ditchweed is still ditchweed. It's legal because it won't get you stoned.

And if you are in a country where it is illegal...the police may still come barging in cus it all LOOKS the same. (the ultimate hassle)

but hey...best of luck

Back in the day: 1970's getting seeds was really hard where I am at

so I grew out 300 seeds in a patch, then crossed the stink-ist male and female

and did them crosses 5-6 times (3 years all up?)

eventually I did have some stoner materal but not good

was much cheaper and more fun than Moroccan Hash tho ..lol

you do need that thc, my hemp was very wild your's is I suspect a genetic construct

$10.00 of THC bomb auto is what you need

good luck

Thank you. I will be growing a few seeds I have collected over the years. Some came from strains like Girl Scout Cookies, Soul Diesel, and so on. I just want to learn to grow from seed to clone to breeding. I decided to learn using Ruderalis. That way I don't waste my good seeds. I am sure that is understandable. When I have it figured out well enough to grow the good, I will. Till then I will grow Ruderalis.

Royal Queen Seeds - Royal AK Automatic $ 11.58 USD

Auto AK is possibly one of the strongest autoflowering skunks on the market -described as a mostly sativa auto-flowering skunk with a hint of Indica. This strain is known and loved by many for its heavy-hitting effects and good yields. The many awards the strain has won over the years goes to show this.

Royal AK Auto inherits much of the traits you have to love from Northern AK47, its' highly resinous covered buds are spicy yet sweet taste and aroma. Its high is happy and active, giving a nice up high, balanced with a gentle body stone. Strong and smooth just like the original. The only real difference is that the Royal AK Automatic is easier to grow and can be harvested in just 9 to 10 weeks after planting the seed.

It will grow to a maximum height of around 80 to 100 cm, this allows Royal AK Automatic to be grown almost anywhere. This potent autoflowering strain gives great yields in the right conditions, producing up to 160g per plant!
