The Fair Work Commission has ordered the national minimum wage to increase by 5.2%, lifting the national minimum wage from $20.33 to $21.38 an hour. That is a $40 per week increase.
Modern award minimum rates will go up 4.6% “subject to a minimum increase of $40 per week”.

In effect, modern award minimum wage rates above $869.60 per week will receive a 4.6% adjustments wage rates below that level will be adjusted by $40 per week.

I lived in NY for 50 years & EVERYONE that knew him or about him knew he was a scumbag & that's the reason he moved to Florida because he would be spit on if he showed his face again in NYC.
EVERY NEWSPAPER in NYC warned America that he was a conman
He received ZERO endorsements in his own town.

.75 is a pretty big damn rate hike, though it was expected. I don't think the fed can reign inflation in. People aren't spending because they want to, making saving more appealing when people are spending on necessities like housing, food, and gas doesn't work.

It's price gouging. The money doesn't disappear. We can all see it and where it goes.

Only upside is that it would be pretty great to get back to 3-5% as the rate. We stayed around zero for like 8 years longer than we should have.
