hi all.......

I am a novice grower, but a lifetime lover of greenery, however having spent the last 3 months studying, I am almost ready for my virgin grow.

My set up comprises of a 2m x 1.2 x 1.2 grow tent, fitted with 600w light, carbon can, extractor, flues, air intake fans etc ect......

I am being given a blue cheese plant in dirt, aprox 1ft high by a pal, so not being a greedy sort of guy, I just wondered what the best way would be to maximize the growth of this single plant its veging state, to fill the space I have.

In the near future I shall be constructing a small area into which I can veg my own clones, but for now with the one plant, I would like to maximize.

Also, if my lighting cycle is not exactly co-terminous with my pals......do I stand a chance of shocking the plant and ruining it?

Any tips at all would be great......Many thanks.

sonds like you got every thing you should need, dont over water, dont over fertilize, and keep your hand at the top of the plant when you lower the light till your hand feels warm not hot,and if your plant is not used to that big of a lamp keep it about 4 ft above the plant for a week till the plant can get used to the heat or the leaves will burn

thanks alot...............now if I was to re-pot into a massive pot, would this allow for increased growth?

I do have a feeding programme and all the biobizz supplement to forw a rain forest for the various stages, and am really wanting to grow on big mother of a plant to start with.......will it spead into a larger pot on its own?.......do I need to do anything to promote further growth?........cheers

yeah, but if its too big,you have more chances of over water, and over fert, cause its a bigger enviorment to controll, usually what you see above ground is equal to what you get below ground so you plant in a pot a little bigger than the growth you see
