injunction/court case updates

This thread would be much easier if we just linked to the tweets (they're also more readable there) and used the messages here to discuss specific ones worth discussing. Otherwise this thing will hit 200 pages and anyone not at their computer is immediately lost.

Just my $0.02

here's an article by Holmquist but his story really differs from the one he told in court under oath!
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news...-to-criminal-abuse-rcmp-says/article16950605/

he said he'd been to one medical grow but “In my experience investigating (medical marijuana) grow locations, I have found that there is an overwhelming temptation for … growers to sell marijuana to supplement their income.”....???
stories change under oath don't they

Moen agrees that the term "tablecloth" appears several times in his thesis, because the issue figured prominently in his report

Crown asked: if bias was a large part of your paper, wouldn't you use the word "bias" a lot in your paper, like the word "tablecloth"?
Cannabis Culture @CannabisCulture
Moen: concepts of bias are inherently understood by university peers and scholars so doesn't need to be explicitly stated as Crown suggested

Moen agrees that he's the leader of the #Libertarian Party of #Canada @LibertarianCDN - Crown reading Moen's biography about his experience

Crown: the word "Libertarian" didn't appear in his thesis because it's not about libertarianism. Moen disagrees and said concepts…

…in his paper were drawn from Libertarian philosophy and how it could be applied to fire and safety methods and coercion in workplace

Ah yes, the table cloth defense.........................

Definitely sounded better in his head I'm sure. I like Moen's reply, with a bit of reading between the lines of course: "concepts of bias are inherently understood by university educated and intelligent people so it doesn't need to be explicitly stated as Crown suggested because they do not understand.

EDIT: And now they're on to attacking his personal views(Libertarianism) which has nothing to do with this case, if his work is peer reviewed.
