Yes, the temp at the intake is most important.
The temp will be about 77*F. It will be coming from an air-conditioned room.

Oh ok, that's good to know. No, suck air out of your tent, do not blow air in. you want the preasure in the tent lower than the preasure outside the tent. You control heat and odor better this way.
77 is the max that you want at your intake, under 75 would be much better, you jaust have to move more air as that temp gets higher. The temp will be about 77*F. It will be coming from an air-conditioned room.
I don't agree, fresh air is vital plus take in account intake of fresh air will add some CO2 which is necessary for photosynthesis. No, suck air out of your tent, do not blow air in ...
Before you start trying to slove other peoples I suggest you solve you own first. It's obv you do not have the understanding to be making any statement.I don't agree, fresh air is vital plus take in account intake of fresh air will add some CO2 which is necessary for photosynthesis.
lol, TRUMP!.. For real tho OP, I'd listen to Bonzi. lolBefore you start trying to slove other peoples I suggest you solve you own first. It's obv you do not have the understanding to be making any statement.
Um sorry, not trying to make you sound like an idiot or anything. But ya see, what bonzi is talkin about here is having a passive intake. (pay attention here, because this WILL solve YOUR heat problems, oh wait, you already wasted money on an AC unite) What a passive intake means, is you have all your fans SUCKING or PULLING air out of the top of ur grow room (heat rises) and instead of having fans blowing air in the bottom aswell, you can just make a hole near the bottom, put those fans up top, and because all the fanst are sucking all the hot air out of the TOP of the grow room, it'll also be pulling COOL air through the holes in the bottom of the grow room. THUS solving your heat problems AND moving more air throught the growroom every minute. Passive intake bud, look it up. Coulda saved yourself some money on the whole AC unite by just moving your intake fans to the top and making them exhause fans. Just a little friendly FYI.I don't agree, fresh air is vital plus take in account intake of fresh air will add some CO2 which is necessary for photosynthesis.
I'd have to go with no. Intake is always on the bottom. Exhause up top. always. IMHO that is. Warm air rises, so to get cooler air in the grow area, make your intake at the bottom. Intake doesn't get rid of air, the intake is where the air comes INTO the grow room. Air will be coming into your grow area THROUGH your intake. And then EXITING through your exhause fan. But all the work will be done by just the exhaust fan.Wouldn't it benefit more if the intake was at ceiling of the tent getting rid of the hot air up there at the same time?
Yes you are correct, you can do the sam thing with just one fan.Bonzi,
on your diagram it seems that the duct used to remove heat from the cool tube doesn't suck any air out of the tent, is that right? Does is pull air out from outside of the tent, goes thru the lamp, and out to the attic ?
Wouldn't it benefit more if the intake was at ceiling of the tent getting rid of the hot air up there at the same time?
Exaaaactly !!! thanks Bonzi.... +repYes you are correct, you can do the sam thing with just one fan.
Yea this is exactly what I was thinkin!... My lazy ass just didn't want to make a diagram..... +rep for the bonziYes you are correct, you can do the sam thing with just one fan.
