That's the only complaint I've ever had with ILGM, particularly with plant structure since I only have room for two plants at a time. My last run of ILGM Super Lemon Haze I had one shorty and the other hit the lights and fox tailed. Both were great smoke though and yielded 494g dry and that was after making bubble out of the fox tails.

I'll be trying some CDLC from Mephisto soon in my next run.
All the Mephisto strains CP here has grown has been top notch havent they CP? If I wasn’t an Auto snob then that’s who I’d be getting them from first up.
By the way Marzig, how’s that sweet little RDWC set up going? So impressed with that build.. love to see some photos of it in action.

All turned out to be some strong stuff. The Artisinals and Originals have all been really consistent flame. The F1 cross freebies were excellent too. I had a couple Mango Macaw that were just too Sativa leaning for me ( these were harvested right after the car wreck sooo)and spun me out and 1 Grape Crush just had a meh feel. Those were 5pk freebies so wtf?Everything I've put money on was fire. I recommend somebody new to buy Artisinal. I will say though that as nice as some of them have turned out, the buzz from that BBHP is right up there. I remember( it's getting a little better) looking in Bodhi's offerings and thinking that cultivar sure sounded nice and I wasn't disappointed. I'm looking into a 4 pot DWC setup for the tent. I'm so tired of lugging soil in and out and the fkn gnats....I'm going to start Space Monkey soon. Ever use PH Perfect's ,Micro/Grow/Bloom trio? I somehow ended up with it but it's not really soil compatible. I've seen guys do well on YT running it in Coco and Pro-Mix. I have the beans, so, may as well try it if it's decent.

I haven't posted anything because I'm a little embarrassed by the condition of the girls unrelated to switching to RDWC. The new set up is running like a dream and I'm so glad I made the change! PH and EC are very stable now and don't require the constant monitoring like before. I just check 2 or 3 times a day just to top off.

The plants are a different story though, mostly genetics and, or my f***ing em up. Two Blue Dream autos from Atlas Seed started at the same time. Before moving them into the RDWC the little one had some kind of root issue. It was like the roots got strangled out. Never ran into this before so I just cut them off. She sprouted new roots and recovered although stunted at that point. Both started showing white hairs at week six. The tall one just kept stretching and didn't really start stacking calyxes until last week and they're at week 14 now.

The little one is close and I'll probably get around 3 to 4 ounces of really nice bud from her. If the tall one hasn't improved when I chop the little one she'll come down too. There's quite a few trichomes on her so I'll just freeze that for bubble.

Well, the space is clearing after harvesting those plants. Look what I found back behind all that stuff. 1.5 of the BBHP clones I cut are still alive. Of course, they were gnat infested beyond belief. But, I guess that demonstrates the toughness of the cultivar because I did nothing but water after the first few weeks. New soil (and probably more gnat eggs) after a month and today, I transplanted to gallon container. I carefully shook the soil from the roots. Nothing left but the peat puck. I transplanted the bigger one into cooked FFOF with Mykos mixed in and watered it down. The other one I drenched in a peroxide wash and will transplant in a couple days. I've been waiting for them to develop new branches but these gnats have kept me distracted and everything suffered. Assuming it/they live, I will give these time to veg properly and get a decent size this time before flipping. Crazy, everything I have/had the last few months has suffered from the gnats. But, the last of those male, failed autoflower clones has rode it all out in stride. I have actually did everything fkd up after it showed male and it still thrives. Hardly any water, just added some soil last week where it had drawn up the dirt in the cup. Only nutes it got were the splash of Flowering nutes left over in the water can maybe twice. Toughest plant I've ever had. Maybe I should flower it out in another spot and cross it to the HP. That's it on the bottom.

That’s funny, my first attempt at RDWC I had a blue dream do the exact same thing.. one just kept growing massive and I ended up pulling it out and throwing it outside in the garden.

Had such a nice day today.. no stress, no deadlines.. just defoliating, pruning and canopy management while listening to Bruce Bugbee podcasts. This canopy is looking sooo nice. Can’t wait to see how she goes.
Ahh, I wish anybody I know here would even know who Dr Bugbee is let alone dig watching him speak lol. Your stuffs looking great like it always does. I've had a few of those days lately. I sit in trim jail watching/listening to YT cannabis shows. You ever watch Dude Grows Show?

I am starting to believe that I have defeated the gnats. I'm not really seeing any in the grow room. The yellow traps and vinegar and soap in a glass traps haven't been getting any new ones. The newer plants I have are looking better. I had done almost everything else but my friend @Buddzbudha suggested a daily peroxide mist to the top inch of soil and ....it seems to have worked. The clones I transplanted are growing. Things are looking better. Another GG is ready, I'm just letting it get a bit more amber. The bigger one is starting to fill out. If it would fatten up it would yield 4-6 zips easy. But, I ain't feeling it. It's losing most of the fan leaves even if the buds are still dark green. Oh well, I can always wash the little larfy stuff. Or decarb and make edibles. This run has humbled the shit outta me.

I'm really looking forward to my next run. Got the new set up pretty well dialed in, so much easier! I've burnt myself out with sativas the last three grows. Plus they make my thinker run in overdrive. They make me think I should do crazy shit like convert to RDWC in the middle of a grow and I'm just about done building a wine chiller for drying and curing. Can't wait to slow things down and chill this winter with some indicas! :eyesmoke:

Can I see the GG please?

Ooh, you’re doing the wine chiller thing! Exciting. I’d like to but I’d have to build like 10 of the bloody things so that’s a no go for me.
Keen to hear how it goes tho!

Oooh, that first top one has some nice big flowers on it! Be good to see it when she’s finished swelling!
Dude , for your runs, you'd need an industrial cooler to dry that much lol. Yeah, that plant has been looking close for a couple weeks. I've just let it go. She's starting to foxtail on a few spots, so, I've maybe got a week before she's done. All these GG have dropped fan leaves till there are only a few left. The cost of letting the gnats survive so long. Live and learn...

I'm building a little bigger one with 7 shelves instead 5 that most of the people are using, should be more than enough room for my little setup. How do you and @CarolinaPotheadsNew do your dry and cure?
I don't know about him lol. He has a job on his hands. My meager little runs I get by hanging on hangers in a dark closet. Room temp ,which is usually 70 degrees. I hang em a week to 10 days. Trim jail. Afterwards the buds go in glass containers that I burb at least once a day. I'm lazy . And, I don't have to worry about bag appeal as it's just the wife and I. There's alot of ways to get to the end. I learn alot of stuff from folks on here. It's one of the few weed forums where you can be ignorant of things and most folks will help if they can. I've wondered about the cold dry method. Keep us posted.

I just wet trim usually and leave them on the stalks and chuck the lot on hanging drying racks until they are ready to go in big grove bags and then just leave them sealed in those until they are ready to go.
