Root pruning really invigorates them in my experience. You have to cut them back a bit too but they really take off with fresh new growth.

Ok so it's night 1 of week 7 an the blue dreams are still very slow in production which is not only a shocker but it's pretty irritating. So far main thing I don't like about h and g is the intro to flower. I feel like if I woulda added bud blood to help induce flowering. The blue dreams at this point on advance nutes or on gh they'd be blowin up fat. The master kush on the other hand is doing great. Looks like I will roughly harvest the same amount vertically as I was with the horizontal grow. So far the vertical is what it's cracked up to be cause you can almost double your harvest using the same amount of bulbs just growin up the walls instead of a flat canopy on the ground. I do like how green an healthy my plants are still off the h and g.
Im still under the impression that it may be the strains fault because of how good mk is.

The first picture is the Grapefruit strain, Just barely starting to swell on the bud sites..
second n third is the new strains that I put in, Afghan x White widow, Sage n Sour, Orginal Sour D, Venus, and AK47.
The blue Dream is pic number 4. I didn't do a close up on accident. The buds look pretty fuckin stringy though.
Last two are MK.

Ok so little update on the blue dream, I switched over to my bulker instead of using h an g's because the bd wasn't bulking. Looks like about half of the blue dreams will make it on time, the other half may have to go 12 weeks, but if they dot start to plump up I'll just toss them n start over. I'm almost ready tto take down the mk wall, an I got a new batch of mk's that sshould be ready next week maybe a little longer if not all of them are rooted. The blue dreams that are pullin tthrew look like their gonna produce fat ass colas .

Hey InsaneMJ, are you using any UVB bulbs? If not I would highly suggest it, they REALLY pack on the trichs, HPS/MH doesn't produce enough UVB for the plants (however CMH/CDM does, wink, wink, lol) you can get UVB bulbs in CFL (like Reptisun) and they also come in T5, for your setup I would suggest the T5's because there longer, brighter and cover a wider area, this is one thing you can do easily, fairly cheaply (a 4ft, 1 bulb T5 fixture is about $40) and it would benefit your plants greatly, ask anyone who uses them. I dot think I'll be updating the thread too much more, moving things up to a 10k flip set up doing it big 4 plants a light totaling 20 lights.. First few runs are gonna be straight bd to help pay back for the costs n labor. So ill be off the radar soon. Although it'll be legal Im still sketch out on releasing too much info on it.

Lol, I think you took that the wrong way.. Reason why Im not gonna just switch is because I'm runnin digilux bulbs right now and they were a bill 25 each.
An it's pretty risky switching over unless you've seen it done previously an it's been proven to work at the same level or better then a thousand watter.
Im not big on switching out equipment as much as I am nutrients. Gotta run with what you know not what everyone wants you to run, see my point?

Quick little update on some of the seeds I purchased.. The Cali connection original sour d turned male. I still got the mommy but killed off the offspring. The sage n sour is female from t.h.seeds. Ak47 from serious seeds is female. Afghan x white widow from world of seeds is also female. The grapefruit looks like its got hermie traits because it's got hairs but where the bud sites should be there's a mix of pistoles and what appears to be seeds.
I still have to test out the kandy kush, og, and og18 from private reserve . Unfotunately the headband fist survive the seedling period. I also have to test out the 2 fire og x arcata trainwreck bx2 and the lemon skunk. 7 more to go. Then after those ar done I'll pop more seeds for more strains. I got a seed from a strain down here called sole assassin, then I still have the mom mix to pop.
