im using Ortho Bug b gone and directions say to spray on plants/flowers directly..

its a powder substance

any one have anything to say about it....

good / bad?

how about garlic?
my mom has some garlic planted in between her plants she says it keeps a lot of insects away, it doesnt take up much space either

sounds good, I have mine in between huge tomato plants and cucumber and its doing too good.

I read in the book Spliff's that marijuana is the only plant in the world that doesn't get eaten by bugs... but bugs have bin eating mine, I used a sulfur based insecticide which I think should be safe since the plants need sulfur anyway

my favorite is diatomatious earth, aka seven dust, it's a fine dust of crumbled coral that has super tiny glass shards that cut up bugs exosceleton or whatever and kill them, cured me of my fungus gnats, lol stuffs dirt cheep and organic.
