Inside Sun company a ripoff?

Hey guys, I recently made an online purchase from Inside Sun company. After the fact, I read some reviews stating that they ripped some people off. Now while there were only a couple reviews of this nature, it was enough to get me worried, since I have been unable to contact the seller, he hasn't returned my calls or responded to my e-mails. Does anyone have any experience with this company, and if so what? Thanks and I look forward to responses.

i just checked out their website and i hope you didnt buy lights cause that shit looks cheap as hell. Cheap ballasts and bulbs are more likely to burn your house down. stick with the tried and true brands and youll have way less shit to worry about.

Yeah, thanks for your reply man. Interestingly enough I remember seeing someone on these forums that reccomended this company, but I should have done my homework prior to ordering. It's okay though, because my credit union will reimburse me if I don't receive the product soon, and I have a feeling I won't be getting the product.

their legit, and they cover the products with a warranty, the bulbs are new. they been around a while doing this and its a decent deal when you find their really low priced 1000 watters. they look super cheap because its generic casings that they put the ballasts in usually. its worth it if your on a budget and you obv are if you found them.

note: these are refurbished but remember their covered so ...

I got my ballast and bulb from an industrial lighting supplier. Had to wire it myself but it sure is rugged.

Thanks man, it's nice to be reassured. I have done some research and found a brand new 600 watter switchable, with an upgraded bulb on ebay from HTG Supply for 219 I believe (and NO SHIPPING COST!!). That amounts to $60.00 off of inside sun which was the cheapest I had seen prior. Anyway...ty =).

No, I have just found out that he did this to someone else. I am not saying that he wasn't legit at first, but he isn't now. He is billing people and not sending them their product. He is no better than a common thief. So heads up guys, don't buy from insidesun.com unless you want donate to some aholes weekend stripper money.

I ordered from them and got my light in 9 days. so I give them a 8/10 for getting me my order in a decent amount of time but as far as customer service I rate them 0/10
