insulated or un-insulated venting?

The venting line that vents my hoods, via in-line fan, goes from outside to outside. The air never touches the air inside the room. My room is sealed. Should I use insulated or un-insulated venting for this venting line?

Thanks.

I dont use insulated because its harder to work with and it caught on fire and almost burned down my space so please keep that in mind when choosing.

well it depends how long of a vent tube your talking. If its only 2 feet froom outside to light then another couple of feet back out, dont bother. The little bit of radiant heat coming off the tube itself is not enough to worry about.
But if you have 20 feet of vent with two or three lights in a row then yes insulate your vent
