Insulation board light reflectivity question.

So I just got done putting these R-tech insulation foam boards on the walls of my garage.

I put the foil side facing towards the grow room thinking it would reflect a bunch of light back into my grow room. After years.... Im now understanding from this forum that the foil side of it doesnt reflect light well at all.

2 questions.

1. For future projects... when I put these insulation foam boards again... should the foil side be facing my grow room or away from my grow room facing the walls.

2. since Ive completed this project already. Should I bother stapling some diamond mylar or mylar or panda film on top of the foil side to reflect light back onto my plants instead of losing it to the foil?

You could staple myler , panda , .
I use the foil tape as it's free off the duct work lads on the sites and I would say it's a lot better than the others .

was thinking of that too. ive used panda before but it tears too easy. same with mylar. im thinking of stapling some diamond mylar instead... never used it before tho so i iust ordered some to see how itll fair

To be honest I've found that the diamond is more expensive and would also say it's not as good as myler .
Other ppl may disagree .
