intake fans at top? exhaust at bottom? is it ok

So i know your suppose to have the exhaust at the top and intake at the bottom, but my problem is my lights at the top get a little hot so id like to turn the exhaust fans around so they are intake and blowin on my lights to keep them cool. so does it really matter if my intake is top and exhaust at bottom??

I would dedicate a seperate out up top for your lights. If lights are air cooled.

Filter to inline fan and out up top is the optimum setup.

Do not compromise. deviate slightly if necessary.

That is your mission if you choose to accept it.

yea my lights are as high as they could go but i only have 6 23w CFLs and dont really wanna take out any lights, with the door closed it got to 92 degrees, and plant tops are almost touching the lights, i also got string in there to tie the tops back just a tad to keep em away from the lights

Of course, dedicate a fresh in for the lights. If air cooled. I quoted you because you are exactly right.

YES it matters, hot air automatically goes up therefore you must exhaust from the top.

im getting itchy fingers, i dont think i can wait 3weeks till harvest, its the hardest thing ive ever done , waiting tht is!!!!!!
waiting till that last day lol
