i know its not enough to revert to veg... never said going from 12 to 13 hours of light would revert to veg.. what ive basically said this entire post is that ive read bits and pieces from people who add light to the flowering cycle at the end of the cycle to add girth or thc content or potency... from a growing stand point it didnt make any sense as to why this would happen.. the extra light over 2 weeks isnt enough to add much of anything to the buds... and if they are talking about adding more light in the form of wattage, well wouldnt you have been using it the entire time?? the only logical reason i could come to is that the swelling or growth these people claim to have could be and is probably related to plant growth from the shoots and not the buds themselves... i know the critcal photoperiod on some varities is 14/10 for flowering.. some can even start flowering under 16/8... but its not many strains that do this... mostly tropical... so i it possible that light in the 14 to 16 hour a day range could "confuse" some plants and make them not know wether to flower or to veg causing some stretching due to hormones starting to change?? ie a strain whoes crtical photoperiod is 12/12 gets put under a 14/10 cycle at the end of flowering, confusing the plant and making it produce vegging hormones and causing the bugs to appear to grow but really is only stretching?? just a thought
