Interesting Dilemma

I'm sure you've all heard the old saying about how washing your vehicle makes it rain sooner. Well, I'm starting to believe that if you order seeds and then plant some, that the order arrives faster. LOL. Had to scrap a bagseed grow yesterday. Between bad genetics (expected. I did it for the challenge and the learning experience) and newb mistakes, they ended up thoroughly stunted and well hermed. Grow scrapped, background laid.

Now, for my dilemma:
I put in a dozen bagseed to germ last night, fully expecting to wait at least another week for my order to arrive. When I awoke this morning, I found my package waiting in the mailbox with 10 White Widow seeds from Nirvana, 10 Romulan seeds from Next Gen, and my three Dinafem freebies: Fruit Auto, Cali Hash Plant, and White Siberian.

I'm going to be using all but the Fruit Auto for mothers. So should I germ some of the WW and maybe some of the Romulan now, or should I wait till the others have sprouted? Edit: OR... should I just scrap the bagseed now and replace them with some WW and Romulan?

Well for one you are working with bag seed so you don't know how they will grow or weather or not they will be fem. If I were you and if you got fem beans then I would scrap the bag seed grow and go with the fem beans. If they are regular beans that you ordered I would plant three WW and three Romulan and hopefully you get some fem's. I would only grow as many as you are allowed by the law "if you are MMJ" or just grow twice as much as you can grow in your grow room. That way you can weed out the males later and also get rid of the runt females. JMHO

All my seeds are regular, both bagseed and strain. Well... not sure about the Dinafem... given the breeder name... well, you get the picture. Let's just say that the seeds I ORDERED are all regular. Freebies... I'm not gonna bitch about freebies. Heh. I ended up going with 4 WW and 4 Romulan. I'll get around to the freebies soon, as I've been seeing some interesting reviews. I see my little mommy box getting full quite fast. Making seeds is DEFINITELY in my future. No way I'll be able to preserve that many mothers.

And thank you for the suggestions.

Keeping mothers is the way to go. Just have a separate tent for your mothers, or separate room, whichever you may use. Just let them go for a while, top them if you have to, can still take many, extremely healthy clones when you top it. I plan on keeping the current mother that I'm growing under a 250W HPS just off to the side for a year+.
