Interesting thing about Smartpots.

Best things ever. The girls on the left are in 20g smart pots, the ones on the right (yes the bigger ones) are in 10g smart pots! Hmm, I'm thinking that it has something to do with the sun exposure. Both sides have the bottom dug out under them 1'-1.5' deep and filled with 50- more nitrogen rich, aged steer manure and 50-the same medium as in the pots. All from seed and have tap root.

It may have to do with sun exposure or it could be the ten gallon pots have more roots the twenty gallon pots roots may have not quite reached the edge of the pot and have not been pruned by the air and started branching out and the ten gallon pots may have been pruned and are branching out in the pot. The smartpots do there job ur plants look really good

Are they both the same strain??

when the roots reach the bottm, they will jump right through the SP into the soil underneath, and keep right on going.

both sides have alternating cali connection strains, Corleone Kush and 818 Headband. Yeah a little after the first 2-3 weeks I was peaking under the pots to see if they had poked through yet and they wouldn't let me lift them because the roots grew so fast. Both sides have unlimited root play if you consider mother earth Love LOVE outdoor grows, too bad it only comes once a year
