Intermittent Light Flash: Problem or Not?

I have a thermometer hanging in my tent, and it gives off a slight red flash every couple of minutes. It is not very bright, but I am still wondering if it is enough to affect my plants. Will a light flashing like this once every couple minutes be enough to cause stress to the plants? What type of problems would occur in a room like this? I should mention that I already grew in this room before noticing this flash, and next time I will tape up the light.

Cover the flashy red light with some black electrical tape. That should solve you're problem.

It'll be a NO PROBLEM thing!

It would have to be almost touching the plant to be one.

I've had a power strip in my tent that has a red light in the power switch. I've never covered it and it's done absolutely no harm. Now if you want to cover it for piece of mind then by all means do it. But you'll need a significant amount more light than a small red led to disrupt the flowering cycle.

Thanks, good to know. I had read in a grow bible that any small light leak can totally ruin your harvest. They must have been exaggerating. I assumed the small flashing light would not do anything but I still wanted to bug RIU users to make sure :)
