i have 7 bag seeds germing right now. i switched it from 3 days in a paper towel between 2 plates to a paper towel in a bag to keep it more moist. its under a bed in about a 70 degree room. i noticed just yesterday that 3 of them started to crack and i got pretty happy. i did this last year too and when it came time to stop germing, i didnt know the right way to plant them. i dont have any rockwool or any type of tht stuff to grow in, only soil and i have to grow it outside. i need help with what to do when the seeds are done germing. for an outdoor grow.

It all depends on you climate. First i would start them in some dixie cups or jiffy pucks. Use a chopstick and poke a hole about an inch deep into the puck or soil. Try not to touch to roots when planting...

wait for them to spout out in a window sill, and give them a little time to grow. I would wait until you get about three nodes or so, if the temps dont drop below 65 outside at night, then you can replant outside.... make sure to put some chicken wire around them when they are small so little critters wont eat them.

As I am still new to growing, all the information I have just presented to you was from past experience, and what I have read about growing outdoors...

make sure you get a second opinion. I have found the best way to learn about growing is to compile lots of info and plan ahead before you do something drastic.

good luck:mrgreen:

thanks, i live in central new jersey. so right now it is lower then 65 outside at night. when they are done germing. i will put them in a cup with some soil and see where it goes from there. my question is if i can leave the cup outside in a garden to get sunlight and then at night ill bring them in? or if i can just keep them in a cup and keep them inside without sunlight? will they still grow? and how much water should i put and how often?
