Yes.5mm thick more durable.and the stickers come off more easy so you dont have to destroy the pad tryingto remove the damn stickerz lol.if your interested i can give you my contact guy,he was super easy to work with on my small order of 100.im sure he would love to have your business and im telling ya your customers will love using this type of pad.when i ordered all those pads from you i had to stay away from this site for a few days until i cooled down,i was super frustrated with the pads you sent me lol.still have all but the 3 i ruined if ya want em back hahaha.

Also, over size wiring increases resistance in low voltage/low amperage circuit. Best to use no larger than 18 gauge. I use 18 guage solid wire with no problem.
I had not heard that before, how low do you have to go before this is actually a problem?

How much more loss or resistance is there going to running 50 watts at 50 volts in a 14 gauge wire than an 18 gauge wire.

I'm skeptical about this claim.

been a while since I've dealt with this, there is a chart you can find on line. Its not significant likely, but its like choosing a 92% efficient driver or a 95% efficient driver. Every little bit adds up

ive never asked, how many are you looking for?

i wouldnt trust the calcs at uber low current, in any case citi calc shows 1212 at 5-10% more flux below 20W

1205 @ 300ma seems to give comparable output per watt to 1212s @ 700ma.... I was just curious how pricing would come out. Don't waste any time on it, more of a curiosity if you already had a #...

story of my life . my local post office hours:
12:00-3:15 M-F

ive mastered the art of camping out by the mailbox at 5:20 and waiting for the dude in the truck to roll up so i can load him up with packages i cant put in the box.

failing that i can drive an hour into town where last pickup is 9. that almost always turns into a 2 hour affair with a beer and some eats after a long day

Hey guys I'm an old school member of RIU (I joined when I was sixteen over a decade ago). Anyway I just purchased my diy cob kit from cobkits. The package will arrive tomorrow and I will let you guys know how that goes but in the meantime I'm very pleased with cobkits. I made a mistake on my order and he got back with me very promptly and sorted it out for me. He was really easy to get in touch with and helpful. The only thing was his website said he had the citizens I wanted in stock but in reality he didn't. It wasn't a problem though because he took care of it within a day or so and I'm still getting my whole kit tomorrow which seems very reasonable to me because I ordered on Monday which was a week ago. Anyway this guy does good business and I wanted to make sure you all knew that. Thanks

thanks for the kind words. with all the different chips its hard to keep up on inventory but that was a day or two before the next batch came in so thanks for your patience. fortunately right before the 4/20 sale i did an overdue physical inventory of all the chips so it should be pretty accurate
