Introducing CobKits.com - specializing in DIY and Citizen COBs

I like this setup, how do you feed them?? I got a nice space left because its too low to flower big plant but this setup is what i need
hand water with a pump and a long hose to reach them. it was a pain in the ass. best to build a manifold and drippers

i started off ebb and flow but salt accumulation was burning them. you could do ebb and flow for ease but then do weekly flushes

Hey! Was order some CXM22's and got question about drivers. I want power them: 2 COBs in serial on 1.4A. ELG-150-C1400A will be enough or i need HLG-185H-C1400A for 2 CXM22 on 1.4A ?

Voltage is ok on both. Im not sure about watts: will it be enough to have 75w per COB on 1.4A(with 150w driver) or COBs will use more than 75w on 1.4A( so i need >150w driver)?

its all about the current. voltage will follow the curve and theres your watts. the only reason it couldnt achieve a certain wattage is if voltage and current were limited

Got one more noob question: should i have any chip temp problems with this setup or it will work fine?

so the tube covers the heatsink to create a channel? the only thing i would consider is maybe little fans inside to blast air right over each chip.
