This is the story of my first strain. I've spent roughly 2 years working, off and on this project. My quest was to find an old school school strain that has a strong stone, or a high effect, something closely related to skunk. Just not skunk #1. I found out through lots of research, time and sampling of smoke that, what works for others dosen't exactly work for me. Every recommendation about a particualr type of strain, left me with half a question, is this strain going to be the strain that works? I had no clue going into this. I started looking for a strain of marijuana that would be of great help to my medical conditions. I found onlinepot.org, which lead me to cannabis.com, and later brought me here, way of Seed Boutique.
Of all the strain's I've tried nothing has come close in regards to taste or smell. This has to be the best strain ever. I will post pictures, as we go from seed to harvest.
Here's the run down of information I've collected over the past few months since starting this strain:
Name: B00M
- this strain was named for its explosive germination rates
50/50 Hybrid
Days of veg. 26 (accumlated height: 12 inches) 18/6
Stretches early 3 to 4 inches.
Purpling of stem, common.
Nodes: 4 to 5.
Start of flowering May 16th 2010.
- 1 week into flowering males are recogineable
- 3 to 4 days females show white hairs
4 - 12 hour germination rate
Uniform tops
Recommended ph lvl 6.5 or less
Feed as nessescary (sensative to nutes)
Early sample 06/10/10:
Taste: Strawberry
High: stoned with a fuzz effect that wears off
Effect: giggles, laughing, mouth watering, happy feeling stone.
Today I started 18 new seeds of B00M
Will be posting this thread throughout the cannabis community.
Checked seeds at 4 hours, shell intact. At 12 hours seeds had opened up and taproot was beginng to grow, at 18 hours taproot was long enough to plant.
*(Only tap water was used for this germination process. No other chemicals were added to increase the speed at which these seeds would germinate).
Here's a picture of seeds and the seedlings new home for the next two weeks:
Of the 18 seeds I started, only 12 seeds sprouted within a twelve hour period. The other 6 seeds remain in a paper towel.
Final outcome unknown!! This will be the first time this strain has been competely run out. Genetic makeup kept a secert.
(These are not female seeds, so results may vary).
