I have been given £500 for my birthday and i want to invest it in something other than an isa, what do you guys reccomend?

a hps light, some seeds or cuttings, fans, carbon filter and soil(or coco or hydro system) and grow!!!!!

I kind of do that anyway, but live with my parents so they wont approve of that. need ideas like shares etc.

Invest it in a homeless person, Get them clothes and a cell phone and internet access.

I wouldn't put it into the market right now, its a mess. Invest in something tangible, gold, silver. Perhaps invest it into a safer currency like the Canadian or Australian dollar? Perhaps the Swiss franc, its the least devalued of them all.

you could put it in a 2 or 5 year CD if you want security.

I would buy the large properties owners, GGP and some of the others. I am also into young tech stocks, SUTR is going to be my next move

But hasn't it been a bad quarter for SUTR, their profits are down 11.4% compared to last year.
