Ionizers and Potency

So I have heard from a few different places that ionizers can reduce potency of marijuana? Personally, I can not make any sense of this claim. The reason I am curious is because I have one oscillating on my plants with the ionizer on. They haven't begun producing buds yet, so I could potentially fix this problem before it's too late.

All I do know is that the ionizer really helps keep down the smell, but still does not completely reduce it. I try to burn some incense every other day on the outside of the grow closet and that helps tremendously. I also do not mind the odor anyways.

In conclusion, do ionizers have any negative effects on marijuana?

I thought that as well. I'm gonna keep the ionizer in the grow room.
