The new power cord was defective! I used it on the second iPower replacement unit also, and I used it on the current Hydrofarm unit too

When the new Hydrofarm unit also failed to fire at lights-on for the second time last night I realized it couldn't be the units

Replaced the faulty iPower power cord with the cord from the new Hydrofarm thousand watt unit and all is well now

tldr> faulty power cord

What a nightmare the simplest things can become.

When it comes to things that could catch on fire in my room, I don’t look for the cheap options. If your able to keep a DE1000 kool, I would never run a SE again. The return is so much better .

I’ve tested lots of bulbs n brands ,
Phillips is the only brand I’ll buy now.

I pulled a fair amount of it out if I'm honest LOL I had five alarms set on my phone for lights-on time and when I started sleeping through them I had a friend calling me to wake me as well because I couldn't figure it out and didn't trust it! Never suspected the power cord
