are these bad to use to hold my plants branches down? withh the metals hurt the plant at all?

Suppose not. I don't think your plants gonna absorb, metal.

yeah i guess your right. but some peoples skin turn colors when exposed to certain metals so i just wasnt sure. thanks.

Most of them will rust. A few are coated in a flexible enough material to prevent rust after bending.
