Irrigation Set up Question 5000 gallon tank

What up,

I have a general question regarding set up as I’ve never done this before and any insight and help would be greatly appreciated!

28 GPM from well

As the diagram dictates Im proposing a 2” line off the storage tank down to an on off valve which would reduce to 1” diameter.
From the 1” line I wanted to run 6 individual 5/8 plastic line and finally spaghetti tubing with drippers 4 per plant.

The question is should I:

Maintain the largest diameter for as long as possible to increase flow?

Or would I fare better stepping down over distance.

I’m running a total of 72 plants so I would need to account for that type of pressure which is why I went with spacing the rows 6’ apart as well as each row having its own mainline

let me know your thoughts!

It wouldn’t be efficient to be gravity fed as the growing area is basically flat ( water pressure alone might cut it but not when the tank is low )

I was wanting / planning on running a sump pump to also keep water circulated, is that a thing?

here’s a look at the grade.

that hill is a little over 100’ wide. I had planned on running a grid on top of the hill but understand utilizing the grade would greatly improve my performance. That being said I wanted to keep all growing on top of the hill as to really not be seen.

happy growing
