Yes. Definitely. I assume you're talking about HPS, right? Longterm exposure can cause cataracts and retina damage.

Get some glasses that will filter the light.... And do not go to the light.... - I know, it's just too beautiful....

dont for get to apply sun screen if your under these lights . you go to work the next day sun burnt in the middle of the winter . i may of done this not saying . try explaining that to the coworkers . and buy blue sunglasses . makes your viewing all white .

All HID lights emit some UVB, so it's a good idea to wear UV blocking sunglasses when working around them.
