No problem. I use a 400W HPS bulb in my veg room which is just a 5 x 3 foot closet and have no heat problems.

Good luck, BigSteve.

I used to use a 250 watt in a similar space... obviously you're not going to be able to utilize the entire length of the closet because it is narrow, but you have like a 2'x4-5' area there still and could use a cool tube or a rectangular air cooled reflector. Inside needs to be flat white or coated with mylar that goes without saying.

If I was growing in such a space today and could vent it efficiently I would use a dimmable 400w. Get a movable light hanger and you're golden, then you would be able to use the whole closet.

Heres a little sketch of what i think i might do now. If i have 61" left between my bucket tops and the ceiling is that enough for a light and room to grow decent? I figure if i leave 1ft for light hanging from ceiling and 18" of room between plants and lights. that will leave around 31" for plant growth. is that enough? sorry for all the noob questions. :)

I plan on using 6" flexible ducts to the lights and out the top with a bathroom fan pulling on the out end.
im sure i will need a box fan on each side to keep the room cool and maybe an out fan from the actual room too.
